Dear David,
You stated that the possibilities of the omniscient point of view described by Romains in his introduction to “The Death of a Nobody” had yet to be realized ( I’m reading the 1988 version of your book “Revising Fiction”). Do you still believe this to be true? If not, what authors do you feel have realized those possibilities?
Sincerely,
Jason Brady Molohon

Dear Jason, My statement is still true. Few writers , and critics, understand the dynamics of either of the four point of view techniques, and assume Omniscient is clearest, but it is the richest and it potential is most difficult to achieve. Maybe I will try to do that myself. My concept of myriadmindedness comes close to mapping the way ahead.
